Kindergarten News 1-30-26
*It’s been a busy week here in Kindergarten. Last week, behaviorally, we got a little off the rails. We were so close to filling our bucket and then we nearly emptied it all. 🙁 We’ve done a better job of getting drops back in this week. Once we do so, we’ll get to play a fun & silly game in the gym!
*Reminders about Grandparent’s Day/Valentine’s Day in Kindergarten:
-Grandparent’s Day is a special tradition in Kindergarten. Students will enjoy a variety of fun activities and quality time with their grandparents (or special guests). Parents are welcome to stay and observe, though activities will be designed for students and their grandparents.
-Every child needs someone to show up for them, so if a grandparent cannot make it, please plan for another adult to come in their place.
-Our celebration will run from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on February 13th.
-Each child will need to bring valentines for their classmates. A class list is attached to the bottom of this newsletter.
*The CCA Scholastic Book Fair will be held during Parent/Teacher Conferences. This is a fun opportunity to shop for reasonably priced books with your child. There are only a few parents signed up to run the fair. If you can help with this, please see the Parent Square message from Crystal Bydalek that came out earlier this week.
