Monday PE Update 12.1.25
CCA PE CLASS
Above the Rest, Beyond the Best
Happy Monday, Cardinals! Hope your Thanksgiving break was full of good food and good times!
3-8
We left off with our Cardinals completing the Presidential Fitness Test, which included a half-mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, and the V-sit and reach. Due to cold weather, most classes only ran a half-mile inside, since running a full mile in the gym requires too many laps.
Looking ahead:
Coming up, the Cardinals will be kicking into soccer! We’ll focus on skill-development drills and work toward getting some games going, with an emphasis on teamwork.
K-2
The young Cardinals were very amped up for break! Some classes got competitive with the ‘How Many Scoops’ game, racing to stack five bean bags on their heads to win. Pool Noodle Hockey was eventful and turned into a playful game of ‘Ninja Sword Fight’ for some, where students pretended to be ninjas trying to score three points on their opponents.
Looking forward:
Feeling nostalgic! The young Cardinals will be playing parachute games with the big parachute- always a fun time for teamwork and movement!
