Monday PE Update 3.9.26
CCA PE CLASS
Lift Off to Fitness!
Happy Monday, CCA!
PE Last Week
-
Students in grades 3–8 warmed up with a short fitness circuit that keeps Presidential Fitness activities fresh. They then played “Nukeem”, a fun, student-taught volleyball game that kept everyone active and engaged.
-
Students in grades K–2 enjoyed balloon volleyball, playing as they called “Upies” and trying to keep the balloon from dropping. We got a little sidetracked decorating and signing balloons, but it was still a lot of fun and kept everyone moving and active.
PE this Week:
-
Grades 3-8: This week, students will play Dead Fish, a volleyball-serving game, followed by Dodgeball Knockout, a fun twist on dodgeball with workouts built in to get them moving and ready for the Presidentiall Fitness test.
-
Grades K–2: Students will get to Cross the River and Log Walk, focusing on balance, coordination, and imaginative fun. If time permits, we’ll add another obstacle course, since they love the challenge each activity brings.
