Monday PE Update 9.16.26
CCA PE CLASS
Effort First, Cardinals Always
Good Morning, CCA!
PE Last Week
-
Students in grades 3–8 experimented with Dead Fish, but it didn’t keep everyone moving consistently. We transitioned into a few more games of Nuke ‘Em, followed by dodgeball with exercise based re-entry to maximize engagement and activity time.
-
Students in grades K–2.First grade tested out Cross the River and Log Walk, which went very well overall. However, to increase engagement, kindergarten and second grade focused on practicing their frisbee throwing skills. The lesson then transitioned into an obstacle course that emphasized a variety of movement skills, including bear crawls, cherry pickers (Marios), and several other fitness-based exercises,
PE this Week:
-
Grades 3-8: This week, students will complete the Presidential Fitness Test and when finished get to vote for a class activity.
-
Grades K–2: Students will continue working on their frisbee skills and try a new obstacle course with additional movement challenges added.
