Letter From Administration

Dear Families,

What a wonderful week it has been here in Cardinal Country! As we wrapped up the semester’s academic requirements, our halls were also filled with the sweet aroma of cookies and candy, the joy of giving gifts, and plenty of fun and laughter. Dress-up week brought an extra spark of excitement, making every day festive and memorable for our students and staff.

There is truly nothing more rewarding than witnessing our students put into action the principle of “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” Parents, we are deeply grateful for the values you’ve instilled in your children. Every smile, every delighted voice, and every act of giving—whether to teachers, classmates, or others in our community—was a testament to the spirit of generosity that lives here.

With the first semester now behind us and 2025 quickly drawing to a close, we are filled with hope for the new year ahead. As we say goodbye to the old and welcome in the new, we want to wish all our Cardinal families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May your holidays be filled with joy, warmth, and cherished moments with loved ones.

Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We look forward to seeing you in 2026!

Students with blankets

Blankets for Children's Hospital

CCA's chapter of National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and CCA's Student Council worked together to make 16 tie blankets with the felt donated by CCA families. These two groups donated their lunch periods on two separate days over the last two weeks to make the blankets, which will be donated to Children's Hospital. The teamwork between all of the students was a beautiful sight, and we are so proud of the work they did. Thank you to all who donated to this worthy cause.

The Gift of Giving

The generosity of the CCA community never ceases to amaze. Student Council sponsored the annual Giving Tree again this year, and our families did not disappoint. All gifts will be delivered to the Weld County Sheriff Department this weekend to be used in the Weld Elves program. This program delivers gifts to Weld County families needing support during the holidays. Our Student Council is so proud to support this program and grateful to the many families who donated to this cause. Our hearts are full. Thank you, CCA, and Merry Christmas one and all!

3rd - 8th Grade Christmas Program

Info on the Program

CCA Families,

Thank you all for attending the CCA Music and Drama Program featuring grades 3-8 last Friday evening. We greatly appreciate your continued support of our arts programs. We understand there may have been some misconceptions around some of the drama material, but we would like to assure you that the intentions around the drama scenes at the 3rd-8th grade Christmas Program were not meant to come across as negative. We recognize that the humor in these scenes was sarcastic/satire in nature, similar to Christmas movies like Home Alone.  The intent was to instill laughter in a goofy manor fitting of our middle school students, while still returning to the magic of Christmas at the end of each scene. We apologize if the facetious humor prevented those messages from being delivered. The values at CCA remain focused on providing artistic opportunities and lessons in positive character for students. Thank you for the continued support of CCA and our students. We look forward to seeing you at our Spring program!
