Dear Families,
We hope this message finds you and your family warm and well as we move through another week of chilly winter temperatures. Please take good care and stay cozy together during these cold days!
Due to the cold temperatures and road conditions this morning, we made the difficult decision to cancel the Top Performers trip to the United States Air Force Academy. While we know this is disappointing news, our top priority is always the safety and well-being of our students and staff. We want to sincerely thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we navigate these unpredictable winter weather challenges. One of the Air Force’s mottos is “Flexibility is the key to Air Power”, and therefore, we are grateful for the way our Cardinal students, parents, and staff embrace this mindset every day. Your support and adaptability make all the difference, especially when plans must change.
We are proud to share that CCA's top 5 spellers participated in the District Spelling Bee at Weld Central Middle School last night. Their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship were evident, and it was wonderful to see the encouragement from both our staff and families. To find out who the district winners are, please check out this week’s Spotlight.
As the cold continues, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Hats, gloves, scarves, and warm coats, as well as boots for the snow, are a must to keep everyone healthy and comfortable at school. If you need assistance with winter gear, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for your ongoing support, understanding, and care for our school community. Wishing you all a warm and wonderful NFL Divisional Playoff weekend!
