Letter From Administration

Families,

Welcome back from Spring Break! It has been exciting, and yes, a little challenging getting back on track. However, our students are resilient and are doing great. This week, our 1st graders immediately hit the ground running with a fun-filled day at the Denver Museum. Thank you to our volunteers who made time for our students. Our 3rd–8th graders are in full swing with this year’s CMAS testing; therefore, we want to thank them for always doing their very best as we assess their learning. Finally, our state science fair qualifiers competed at CSU yesterday, so good luck to Tessa, Logan, and Kasey & Aliya! Winners will be announced this evening. It was also great to see all the dads this afternoon for our Kindergarten Dads’ Day. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy in our parents’ eyes as they spend time learning with their children. This was immediately followed by our K-2 Music Program, which is always a treat. Thank you, Mrs. Herman, for the great work you have done with our youngest learners!

It is great to get back into the swing of things! We hope this week has been enjoyable as we continue moving down the final stretch of the 2025–2026 school year. May you have a blessed weekend and enjoy some time outdoors as the weather continues to warm up.
Let’s go! Be blessed…

Please congratulate these students if you see them, and join us at the Tree City Celebration at Schey Park in Keenesburg on May 2!

From the Board

Happy Friday CCA!

We hope everyone had a great Spring Break and had some time to rest and relax. We hit the ground running in the first week back with CMAS testing beginning. It sounds like things have gone well and we hope to see positive results.

CMAS data is used in a variety of ways. One of the most important ways it is used is in our School Performance Framework. The CDE releases their ratings each year, and we rely on this rating to see how our school is performing. CCA has traditionally performed very well in this area. Last year we had our second highest rating in our school's history (78.3/100), and we hope to see similar results this year. We wish our students good luck in their final round of CMAS testing next week.

Also, thank you to PTO for providing breakfast to students on Wednesday. As always, our PTO does great things for our students.

Thank you,

CCA BoD
